The Southern Lakes region of Canada's Yukon Territory has been famous for its spectacular scenery since the days of the Klondike Gold Rush. The village of Carcross, on the fine sandy beach of Lake Bennett, was founded and began welcoming travellers during the Gold Rush. A century later, Fox Hollow B&B continues that Carcross tradition.
